The Rescue Squad needs Drivers, EMTs,

Volunteers and Junior Cadets

To become a member of the Greene County Rescue Squad

You must be certified in Virginia as either:

• Emergency Vehicle Operator
• Emergency Medical Technician at the Basic level or above.

(Of course, people who can do both are especially handy!)

To become a member of the Greene County Rescue Squad Auxiliary

You must be:

• At least 14 years of age
• A desire to help in a non-patient care capacity

(Fund Raisers, Event Planning, etc…)

To become a Cadet member of the Greene County Rescue Squad you must be:

• At least 16 years of age
• Hold a valid American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers CPR certification
• Enrollment in an EMT Basic class within a year of application
• Parental Permission
